In order to receive your donations you will need to set up an account with our secure payment processor Stripe.
Setting up your account:
- Log in to your HandUp account here: https://handup.org/admin
- At the top of the page you will see a red notification regarding tax deductibility. In the notification, click the "Connect with Stripe" button.
- Fill out the form accordingly and be sure to take note of the email address and password you set up for this account as you may need it later. (see payment schedule below)
- Click the "Authorize" button at the bottom to finalize.
By default, you will receive transfers on a daily basis. This means donations received each day will be transferred to your bank at the end of the day. Keep in mind each transfer takes 2 business days to process. Please note once you have set up your account there is an initial processing time of 7 days before you can receive your first transfer.
You can customize your payment schedule to occur weekly or monthly as well.
To adjust your payment schedule:
- Log in to your stripe account here:https://dashboard.stripe.com/account
- Click the "Transfers" option at the top
- See the "Transfer Schedule" section and adjust your schedule to your preference.
